Progressive Christianity is a "post-liberal movement" within Christianity "that seeks to reform the faith via the insights of post-modernism and a reclaiming of the truth beyond the verifiable historicity and factuality of the passages in the Bible by affirming the truths within the stories that may not have actually happened." Progressive Christianity is characterized by a willingness to question tradition, acceptance of human diversity, a strong emphasis on social justice and care for the poor and the oppressed, and environmental stewardship of the earth.
However, "progressive Christianity" is a lie! There's nothing Christian about "progressive Christianity". You are not a Christian if you willfully contradict the word of God, and THE ENTIRE BIBLE BLATANTLY CONTRADICTS "progressive Christianity". You can't choose the parts of God's you'd like to follow and the ones you wouldn't. The Bible even has a warning for every teacher of progressive Christianity. In Matthew 18:6 Jesus straight-up says:
"...If you teach and cause disciples of Christ to sin, it would be better for you to have a millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea."
The world loves to praise "progressive Christians", but in Luke 6:26 Jesus says:
"Woe to you! When everyone speaks well of you for that's how their ancestors spoke of the false prophets."
The true gospel is offensive to those who love sin - it's offensive in a world of sin, and the world loves their ("progressive Christians'") sin. "Progressive Christianity" teaches a false gospel that encourages sin. In spite of what "progressive Christians" will tell you, the scripture says:
* Abortion is murder
* Marriage is EXCLUSIVELY between a man and a woman
* And Jesus is the ONLY way to be reconciled with God...because the word of God says so.
